SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS

Basic Salary:    Kshs.  10,717.00 – 12,416.00 p.m.
House Allowance:  Kshs.  3,500
Leave Entitlement:   30 days per year
Leave Allowance:  Kshs.4,000 per year
Medical benefits as applicable in the service

(a) Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;

i.    Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (Minus) or its approved equivalent;
ii.    Proficiency in computer applications will be an added advantage.
In addition to the above requirements an officer must have the following competencies:-

  5. Good work attitudes and ability to follow instructions.

(b) Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Compiling statistical records
  2. Sorting, filing and dispatching letters
  3. Maintaining an efficient filing system
  4. Computation of financial or statistical records based on routine or special sources of information
  5. Preparing payment vouchers
  6. Compiling, entering data and drafting simple letters.
