CS leads ministerial performance target vetting with a call for result-oriented service delivery

The Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Gender, Culture and Children Services Ms. Hanna Wendot Cheptumo has called for diligence in the implementation of the ministerial mandate to ensure value-based results to the general public.

Speaking during the vetting exercise of the ministerial performance targets for the Financial Year 2025/26, the CS emphasized efficiency as an imperative in public service delivery to safeguard public resources, minimize wastage and promote transparency and accountability.

The vetting process enables the Ministry to align its strategic goals with the national priorities including Kenya Vision 2030, the Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) and the BETA strategy. 

Present during the discussions were Principal Secretaries Anne Wangómbe (Gender Affairs and Affirmative Action), Carren Ageng'o (Children Services), Technical Directors from the three State Departments and the Public Service Performance Management team led by PS Ahmed Abdisalan.
